The educational contents for the First Flight Field Trip were created through a collaborative effort with many community organizations and educational institutions. These groups have reviewed the content to uphold the state's educational content standards for subjects such as math and science. Each workbook cover features an Anaheim Ducks player. Please note these standards vary throughout the workbook as they are written for 3rd-6th graders. Some section made be harder than others. It is up to the teachers discretion to pick and choose the concepts covered in the classroom.

Anaheim Ducks players will be on the ice for practice. It is important to note there will be no educational segments during practice this year. It is purely an opportunity to come early and watch the players practice. This is a great opportunity to see concepts students have learned about and to work through the “Hockey Homework” section of the workbook, designed to be complete in the arena. Schools are encouraged to arrive anytime before or during open practice.
Classroom Segment – 11:00am – 12:30pm
